Beale Street’s big New Year’s Eve Celebration will be even more spectacular this year due to the addition of some serious star-power with headliner B.B. King’s Blues Band featuring pop music icon Tito Jackson. Together, superstar Tito Jackson and the B.B. King’s Blues Band will continue the mighty legacies of B.B. King and the Jackson 5 in an NYE set that will have music-lovers from around the planet vying for a spot on historic Beale Street this December 31.
For over half a century, B.B. King and B.B. King’s Blues Band defined a genre, averaging over 250 sold-out shows per year. Combine that heritage with the inspired genius of Rock ‘n’ Roll Hall of Famer Tito Jackson and you get a powerful must-see musical act that will be shared with Memphis audiences first.
The NYE concert, which is free and open to all 21 years old and older, is part of a night-long celebration of Memphis music, including sets from multiple Memphis performers and a big fireworks finale. All bands will play at the corner of Fourth Street and Beale, and the event will be broadcast live via the street’s social media channels.
